Program Details
Spanishtime® is an amazingly fun and educational experience for your elementary student. Each weekly class is taught entirely in Spanish, and consists of adventures in art, songs, games and more. Combined with listening, repetition, and conversation, we use a hands-on interactive approach to ensure a fun-filled learning environment.
Weekly lessons are divided into themed units such as "The House," "Transportation," "My Family," and "The Body." Weekly activities vary from playing Spanish bingo to shaving cream drawings to hangman to singing fun songs, and give your child a variety of ways to remember the Spanish language. Our age-appropriate activities are designed to progress with your child as well as keep him/her eager to learn more!
We continually introduce new themes throughout the school year creating a huge new world of vocabulary, conversational phrases, and exciting activities for your child. This also makes it easy for new students to join in the fun without the need to catch up. They simply move forward with the new themes. Your child does not need to know any Spanish. Our students come from various backgrounds and skill levels from no Spanish to bilingual parents. While our elementary students may respond in English (unless we know they can speak Spanish), we teach them how to respond in Spanish and continually encourage them with easy phrases through repetition and interactive games and activities.
We offer a variety of 1hr, 2hr, and 3hr classes during various days and times (current schedule) or we have private lessons available for all ages. Call and get the bilingual advantage today!
